Dr. Wages and her staff are amazing! Both my kids were incredibly anxious when we started seeing her. In the past few years since we've become her patients, my kid's anxiety has calmed down and now they love going to the dentist! I so appreciate Dr. Wages patience and kindness towards my kids and her staff are so warm and friendly! I drive all the way from Hillsboro to her office because the experience we receive is 100% worth it.

Hands down the best experience we've had at a dentist! My three children we're instantly at ease and loved Nutmeg, the dog. Dr. Wages was thorough and very kind with her interactions and explanations. They all walked out with smiles - extra sparkly ones.

We had been searching for a new pediatric dentist since our son was very young and came to see Dr. Wages because of the proximity to our regular dentist who shares the building with Dr. Wages, luckily enough. The other driver was the reviews from other parents. She immediately greeted us with Nutmeg, their office dog, and got John excited about brushing and having sparkly teeth. She was able to remove some discoloration that had been giving me anxiety. Dr. Wages and the staff was extremely warm, kid-friendly, and thorough throughout our entire visit.

I am extremely pleased with the experience we recently had with Dr. Wages, And would gladly recommend her to anyone needing a pediatric dentist. Initially, we went for a 2nd opinion and decided to stay with her because of their professionalism, knowledge, and care for children. Her staff is just as amazing too!

From my initial call with one of Dr Wages’ staff members, I knew this was the right dentist for my two-year-old. The entire office is warm and kind, and they explain every step of the first visit, so it really took the nervousness out of it for me! Highly recommend it - my two year old handled her first cleaning like a champ...thanks to the easygoing demeanor of the doctor and her team (including nutmeg)! Thank you!

No parent is thrilled to hear their young child needs dental work, and I was no exception. Dr. Wages, however, came recommended to us, and I was comforted by the multitude of positive reviews. Having since completed the dental work, I could not be more grateful for how everything turned out. Dr. Wages went above and beyond accommodating my concerns in light of COVID-19 restrictions, while in the office- she and her team worked compassionately, quickly and professionally to take care of the task at hand. We have never had such a productive experience at the dentist, with my child being happy and watching a movie the entire time.We will definitely return in the future.

Dr. Wages is incredible, simply put. My kids are very shy and apprehensive but SW PDX Pediatric Dentistry makes them feel totally comfortable. My kids like going to the dentist so much that they go home and pretend to be the dentist. I recommend them to everyone!!

We’ve been seeing Dr. Wages for several years and it’s always a good experience for my now 8-year-old. You know your child is comfortable when you tell them they have a dental appointment and they say “hooray!” The office is inviting (even with the social distancing and extra sanitation COVID protocol) and the staff is friendly and caring.

We love Dr. Wages, and all of the staff at SW PDX Pediatric Dentistry Clinic. Dr. Wages is wonderful with my children and makes them feel at ease. My children are obsessed with her therapy dog, Nutmeg as well. My son was very nervous when we first started going to the dentist. We have been going to SW PDX Pediatric Dentistry for three years now. He has lost all of his anxiety going to the dentist and looks forward to seeing Dr. Wages and her team.

Dr. Wages was patient and knowledgeable and made our 3yo’s cleaning quite fun! She will be excited to go back in 6 months to see the puppy and the Dr.

Dentist Melissa Wages does such a great job of helping my kids feel comfortable at cleanings. Also, she goes out of her way to try every preventative recourse before performing invasive procedures (such as cavity fillings). And she makes fillings far easier by using laughing gas vs. novocaine. Combined with an iPad tuned to his favorite show, my son literally didn't even know he was getting a filling. He said it was wonderful, like he was floating in the clouds!

So happy to have Dr. Wages' assistance and encouragement, my youngest is 19 but still needs intense dental care because of weak enamel. Thank you for helping my "baby" keep their teeth in their mouth!
